Hi, Phillip! Thanks for joining us today. Tell us about your business. Who do you serve, how do you serve them, and what's the impact that your business and work makes?
Remote Flo helps remote startups and scale-ups (20–50 employees) build high-performing distributed teams through global recruitment + EoR, leadership/team audits, and custom culture/performance playbooks.
We serve US/EU founders, CEOs, and People Ops leaders who want to hire fast and compliantly, eliminate culture drift, and scale without burnout or turnover spikes.
The result: dramatically lower hiring risk, increase retention, and resilient teams that deliver sustainable growth.
Tell us about the moment you finally felt like you went from wantrepreneur to entrepreneur.

Describe the moment or period in your life/career that motivated you to make the entrepreneurial leap.
After years of working for remote teams and working on various other business ideas that did not gain any traction, a bunch of ideas started to flow to me last year, which led me to take action to create Remote Flo
Describe a tool, service, or software that has been a game-changer for your business. How does it contribute to your success?
Basically any of the AI LLM models can be instrumental in creating your business if they're utilised correctly. Using a couple of these models definitely accelerated the business creation process.
We know that success is very often a non-linear path. Tell us about a failure, pivot point, or lesson that changed your course or direction and helped to get you where you are today.
Getting rejected from many different remote jobs ultimately guided me to what i am creating today. Failures are just you being directed in the right direction if you're able to learn from them.
What unconventional strategy did you employ that significantly impacted your business?
Getting my health right and setting up good habits is key to success. If you're healthy you're going to be able to make the right decisions in your life, which also can include starting a business.
What’s something you wish you knew sooner that you’d give as advice for aspiring or newer entrepreneurs?
To just build your business and not over think it. The solutions to your problems will come as you build. Don't overthink everything and get stuck in tutorial hell while not taking any action. Action leads to outcomes.
